Ledgible allows you to import transactions from exchanges automatically, through linking your exchange to Ledgible using API keys. This will allow Ledgible to read your transactions without them having to be updated manually beyond running an account refresh.
The method used to add your Fireblocks connection will require the CSR file in the possession of the Fireblocks account creator/administrator, as well as your private key. When entering the private key, please be sure to copy everything from the:
-----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- at the beginning
THE ACTUAL KEY (Could be 25 lines or so)
and
-----END PRIVATE KEY----- at the end.
(Note that copying the private key alone between the Begin and End will not work; the "---Begin..." to the "---End...." are part of the private key )
For additional help on linking your Fireblocks transactions, please reach out to Ledgible support.
To add your Fireblocks transactions:
- Navigate to your Fireblocks homepage. From there, click the Developer Center in the bottom left of the screen.
- Next, navigate to the API Users tab.
- To the right of that screen, click the Add API User button.
- This will open a screen where you can enter the Name and Role for your new API user. Enter the role as Viewer and select Custom CSR.
- Click Browse and select your CSR file, then click Add User.
- You can now see your newly created API key on the Fireblocks dashboard (under the ID column). Copy this by hovering your mouse over the key and clicking Copy.
- In a separate tab, open Ledgible, log into your account, and navigate to the crypto sources tab.
- Click Add Source and navigate to the Fireblocks tile. Select this, and center a name for your Fireblocks crypto source. Then, leave Sync On-chain Transactions selected.
- After clicking next, paste the API key copied from your Fireblocks dashboard earlier into the API key field. Then, paste your API private key into the second field. When entering the private key, please be sure to copy -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- at the beginning and
-----END PRIVATE KEY----- at the end.
- Click Next, then Create, and your Fireblocks transactions will automatically be uploaded to Ledgible.
